Been shooting fulltime since 2000 and loving every minute of it
Jens hails from Finland where he was an infamous guitarist in a Finnish rock band. He found himself looking for something more than the endless crazy rock star life style had to offer. He came to London to try his hand at being a session musician but shortly after moving started to study Graphic Design.
His graphic design training made him a master of Photoshop and taught him all he needed to know about digital processing. After studying graphic design Jens decided to take a desk job at a small but cool design agency in London. However, having grown up with the freedom and fresh air of the Finnish countryside, he soon decided it simply just wasn't for him.
At about the same time digital cameras started to change the way the traditional photography market worked, Jens started to play with these small magical machines and his natural affinity with them became very apparent. With no formal training it was clear from his earliest experiments that Jens could coax beauty from the lens. This coupled with his superior Photoshop skills meant he could make even the most average looking models appear shining and bright and his work instantly started to stand out in an old and dried up glamour market.
Jens found himself ever in demand from the portrait sector and his work started to get published mainly through picture agencies. With a calm determination and an eye for the right photos combined with his untouchable business integrity Jens formed a sexy, yet cool brand.
Its now clear that Jens's intuitive marketing skills, coupled with his artistic talent and easy going persona has established the photo syndication company as not only a powerful and respected syndication agency but also as a brand which had a serious impact on the photography market. This brand has grown to deal with actors, celebrities, fashion and glamour models alike.
Jens plans for 2009 include taking a step into the world of advertising whilst keeping a strong focus on the celebrity portrait market where his work is now syndicated through various channels and published world wide.
